It usually starts with a squiggle
Most of our projects begin the same way: a client comes to us with a rough idea, a squiggle on a scrap of paper or generated on AI, a half-formed thought about what their business could look like. That’s where the name came from, and it’s still exactly what we do best. We take that first squiggle and develop it into a brand, a logo, a website, and the printed materials that bring it all to life.
Squiggle Graphics is a friendly design and print studio based in Hambridge, Somerset, between Ilminster and Taunton. Founded in 2013 by Georgina Meaden, the studio is built on over 20 years of design experience, and in that time we’ve helped everyone from brand-new start-ups to established companies look brilliant, across Somerset, the South West, and the wider UK.
A small studio, on purpose
We’re a team of three — and we like it that way. Staying small means you deal directly with the people doing the work. There’s no account-handler middle layer, no outsourcing, and no losing the personal touch. Every logo, brand, website, and print job gets our individual attention from start to finish, which is how we’ve built so many long-standing client relationships over the years.
Meet the team
George (Georgina) – Founder & Creative Director. With over 20 years of design experience and a BA (Hons) in Packaging Design from the University of Plymouth, George leads the creative side of every project, turning client squiggles and ideas into polished brands, logos, and designs. As founder, she set up Squiggle Graphics to give small businesses design they can actually afford, without sacrificing quality or that personal relationship — or, as she puts it, to help small businesses look brilliant.
Helen – Client Support Manager. Helen makes sure every client feels looked after, keeping projects moving smoothly and being on hand whenever you have a question. She’s the reassuring point of contact who keeps everything on track.
Shelley – Office & Account Manager. Shelley keeps the studio running behind the scenes, managing accounts, quotes, and the day-to-day so that nothing slips and every project stays organised.

Over the past decade we’ve delivered hundreds of projects across a wide range of sectors, including vets and animal care, schools and education, hospitality, health and wellbeing, trades and construction, renewable energy, travel, and small business start-ups. Our work ranges from the Skills Supply journal designed and printed for Sizewell C, to academy and education trust branding, vet practice identities for clients like Eden Vets and Langport Vets, and infographics and design for renewable energy business Amber Heating.
